Aurélien Kaske

Junior Analyst

Aurélien has over two years of experience in data handling, coding and econometric modelling. His expertise includes working with and analysing sizable cross-section and panel datasets, such as the EU Labour Force Survey and EU-SILC. He has experience in data cleaning, data visualization, merging datasets, and the application of econometric concepts using statistical software packages. His previous work also includes the evaluation of development programs in Pakistan, Zambia and Morocco, for which he performed high frequency data quality monitoring, as well as econometric analysis of a large-scale Randomized Control Trial on financial inclusion. He also conducted research on the return on  investment of higher education subsidies in Germany.

Apart from his quantitative skills, he has experience in public sector policy research and analysis, which he gained whilst working at the OECD. During his time there he was the lead author of a cross-country analysis on skills development policies.

Aurélien holds a Master in Economics from the KU Leuven and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Mannheim, including a stay at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

A native German and French speaker, he is also fluent in English and Spanish.
