Analyst

Linn has over three years of hands-on experience in data handling, coding and econometric modelling. She has gained substantial experience in the area of antitrust litigation and has co-authored several economic expert reports in large damage cases in the areas of heavy industries, food & beverages, consumer products and the automotive sector. As an empirical economist, she has extensive experience in data analysis, specializing in applying causal identification methods with a focus on damage quantification. As a project manager, Linn has also led the day-to-day work, including data collection, planning of empirical analyses, and report drafting, in a number of large damages cases.

In addition to her applied work, Linn has a solid background in economic theory, in particular public economics. Having studied Public Policy at the Hertie School in Berlin, Linn also has a solid understanding of public policy and legal reasoning. Notably, she represented her institution in the Jessup, the world’s largest international moot court competition, where her team emerged as the winner of the German rounds. Moreover, Linn has over two years of experience working in the public sector. She worked at the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and for a renowned public sector consultancy in Berlin. She also interned with a large international consultancy firm and the DIW, providing empirical research support for a project on statistical methods of estimating rent price indices.

Linn holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School in Berlin specialising in policy analysis and a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Maastricht University including a stay at Singapore Management University.

As a native German speaker, she is also fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
